For plumbers, roofers, HVAC techs, contractors, painters, cleaners, and lawn crews
Spend less time making quotes and more time making money.
Still working up every quote yourself? QuoteTusco turns the pricing rules in your head into a simple quoting tool, made for your business. We set it up, test it against your real jobs, and teach you how to run it. Then it’s yours.
Starts at $995, one time. Plus any hosting or software costs your setup needs. We’ll tell you what those are before you approve the project.
You’re the only one who can give a price.
A customer calls about a leaking water heater, and your office takes a message.
The price is in your head, and you’re on a roof until five.
We put your pricing rules into a tool, so whoever answers the phone gives the number you would have given.
By the time you call back, they’ve hired someone else.
You work up quotes at the kitchen table after supper, two or three days behind.
Meanwhile the customer called two other companies, and one of them answered with a number.
A routine job gets its price in minutes, from your office or from your website at ten at night, while you’re still on the job.
You ask the same questions on every call.
How big is it, what’s it made of, how far out are you, how soon do you need it.
Then you text back for the one thing you forgot to ask, and wait a day for the answer.
The tool asks your questions in the same order every time and hands you the answers on one page.
You drove out to look at a job that was never going to happen.
An estimate costs you half a day: the drive, the ladder, the conversation, the write-up.
They wanted a rough number, and their budget was half of what the work costs.
The tool gives a range before anyone gets in the truck. The jobs that need your eyes still get them, and those customers already know roughly what it costs.
The same job got two different prices.
You quoted it from memory in March, and again in June.
One of those numbers was wrong, and you can’t tell which.
Your prices live in one place. When your supplier raises a price, it changes once, and every quote after that uses the new number.
The fix
Get the prices out of your head, once.
None of that means you need new software to run your whole business. It means the rules you already use need to live somewhere other than your head. Here’s what that looks like for seven made-up businesses. The prices are invented. Pick your trade and change the answers. The same tool gives a firm price, a range, or hands the job to you, depending on what the customer tells it.
Drain cleaning
Drain cleaning
Firm price- Cable one drain, standard job$185
Flat price for one drain we can reach. If the cable finds something worse, you hear the new price before we go on.
Your customer keeps it as a PDF, or sends it to you from their own email.
One clogged drain is a flat price. More than one fixture, or water backing up, points at the main line, so the customer gets a range and the plumber brings a camera. Drain cleaner in the pipe, a clog that keeps coming back, or no way in always goes to a person.
Built around how you quote
Those were examples. Yours starts from how you work up a quote today, so no two come out the same. Here are two.
A roofer who sells every job in person
- Who fills it in
- The office, during the call
- Who sees the price
- Only the roofer
- What it answers
- A budget range, or “needs a look”
- How the quote arrives
- Emailed to the office
- Where the prices live
- A spreadsheet the owner already keeps
- Where the tool lives
- At its own address, off the website
A house cleaner who books online
- Who fills it in
- Customers, on the website
- Who sees the price
- The customer, right away
- What it answers
- A firm price per visit
- How the quote arrives
- The customer saves a PDF
- Where the prices live
- Built into the tool
- Where the tool lives
- Embedded in the website
Prices don’t have to appear on your website at all. If you later want the tool feeding a CRM or your books, we do that work too, and we quote it on its own.
STORSquare quoted every rental by phone. Now the website does it.
“One of the custom plugins they built has been a game changer … and even helped us book more portable storage rentals through the website.”
The tool has been live since early 2025 and takes quote requests every day. The people who used to quote by phone now spend that time selling. Read the story
Half a day per estimate, and most of them never call back.
The tool gives the price shoppers their number before you spend a minute on them. It works on your website, from the office phone, or from the truck, and customers see only what you choose to show them.
Monday, the old way
Four callbacks to make before you know which of them is a real job.
Monday, with your tool
- Booked
Mrs. Miller, on the phone
Water heater, $1,775. Jen quoted her before she hung up.
- Worth the drive
Website, 10:41 last night
New deck, $6,900 to $8,450. Saw the range and still wants a visit.
- Saved you a trip
Website, 6:15 this morning
Drain cleaning, $185. Looked at the price and moved on.
- Yours to price
Dave, from the truck
Roof with two layers on it. The tool gave no number.
An example morning, not a real business.
It has to match you before it meets a customer.
You send us a few jobs you’ve already quoted, and the tool runs them. Where it disagrees with you, we fix the tool.
You also set where it stops. Past your limits it takes the customer’s details and hands you the job, with no number shown.

What it takes from you
- A 20-minute call.
- One conversation about how you price.
- A few jobs you’ve already quoted.
The rest is ours
- 1Work out whether the standard setup fits, and tell you straight.
- 2Turn your pricing into the tool, with your name and colors on it.
- 3Test it until it lands on the numbers you quoted.
- 4Set it up where it makes sense: on your website, or at its own address.
- 5Teach whoever will use it, and record the walkthrough.
- 6Fix anything that’s off for 30 days after launch.
Then it’s yours. It runs on your accounts, in your name, with no contract, and the walkthrough stays with you.
What it costs
Starts at
$995 one time
$995 buys the standard setup: one quoting process, built, tested against your real jobs, and handed over. If yours needs more, you hear the full price on the fit check call, before you pay anything.
You pay us once. We don’t sell a subscription or a maintenance plan.
For scale, a roof is a $9,000 job and a water heater is $1,700.
Get a fit check callWhat $995 covers
- A conversation about how you quote today
- One quoting process, with your pricing rules, options, and conditions
- A tool for your customers, your office, or your crew
- Your name, logo, and colors on it
- A PDF quote your customer can keep
- Testing against real jobs you’ve already quoted
- A path to a person for the jobs that need a look
- Training on daily use

- A recorded walkthrough or written guide

What raises the price
- More than one quoting process
- Quotes that arrive in your inbox on their own, which also takes paid hosting
- Connections into a CRM or accounting system
- Custom code beyond the standard setup
What you pay someone else
A simple tool can often run on free hosting. Some setups need paid hosting, and when yours does, we’ll say so and say why. It’s usually a few dollars a month, paid straight to the provider in your own name. You see the cost before you approve the project.
Nothing extra gets added without you knowing the cost first. A new website, scheduling, and invoicing are separate jobs, and we quote those on their own.
What owners ask before they call
Do I need a new website?
No. We build the tool wherever it makes the most sense for you. If your website can hold it, it goes there. If it can’t, or you have no website, the tool sits at its own address and you share the link.
How do quotes reach me?
Your customer downloads the quote as a PDF or sends it to you from their own email, with everything they entered. If you’d rather have every quote arrive on its own, that takes paid hosting, usually a few dollars a month, and you’ll know the cost before we start.
What will hosting and software cost me?
Often nothing. A simple tool can run on free hosting, in your own name. Some setups need paid hosting, such as a tool that emails you every quote. That usually runs a few dollars a month, paid straight to the provider. When yours needs it, we’ll tell you what and why, and you’ll see the cost in writing before you approve the project.
My jobs need a site visit. Can this still help?
Usually. The tool doesn’t have to give a firm price. It can give a range, or collect the measurements and details you’d otherwise spend the first ten minutes of a call asking for. You decide which jobs get a number and which get a callback.
What if I need to change a price later?
Tell us on the fit check call how often your prices change. If it’s often, we build the tool to read its prices from something you already own, like a Google Sheet or an Excel file, so a price change is a cell you edit. If your prices rarely move, the simplest build may suit you better, and we’ll say so.
What happens after you hand it over?
It’s yours. For 30 days after launch we fix anything that doesn’t match what we agreed. After that, new work is quoted as a new job, and you’re never on a retainer.
