Quote tooling & CPQ

Turn complex, configurable products into self-serve quotes that feed your CRM.

When your products have options, gradients of pricing, or quantities a fixed-price cart can’t express, quoting falls to phone, email, and salespeople farming their inboxes for leads. We build the quote tool that lets buyers spec exactly what they need and hands your team a structured, line-itemed quote, then wire it into your CRM so nothing falls through.

A quote tool we built and run

“One of the custom plugins they built has been a game changer. It streamlined our internal operations, improved our sales tracking and reporting, and even helped us book more rentals.”

Why a cart can't quote

Some products can’t live behind a fixed price.

Configurable, high-value, or distance-and-quantity-priced products do not fit a normal checkout, so the quote happens by hand, and the leads happen by luck.

Quoting by phone and email

Slow, manual, and leaky

  • Prospects can’t get a number on their own, so some give up before they reach you
  • Salespeople farm their inboxes for leads instead of selling
  • Pricing lives in a spreadsheet of exceptions that nobody trusts
  • Quotes get re-keyed into the CRM by hand, and some never make it

A self-serve quote tool

Structured leads, on autopilot

  • Buyers spec exactly what they need and get an accurate quote on their own
  • Every request lands as one structured, line-itemed quote for the sales team
  • Your real pricing logic, encoded once, applied the same way every time
  • Each quote flows into your CRM, so the pipeline is complete

What we build

A quote engine shaped to how you actually sell

Self-serve quote builder

Buyers assemble the products, options, and quantities they need and submit one structured request, instead of a cart that can’t express real configuration.

Your real pricing logic

Options, tiers, volume breaks, distance or freight pricing, configurator rules: we encode the way you actually price, including the edge cases, so quotes come out right.

Wired into your CRM

Every quote flows to the right salesperson and into HubSpot or your CRM, so leads stop dying in a shared inbox and your pipeline is actually complete.

Hybrid commerce

Quote-only for the complex equipment, directly purchasable for the small parts, on one storefront, with the right behavior per product.

You run it yourself

An admin you control for lots, pricing, thresholds, and rules, plus a debug trace so your team can test a quote without calling us.

Built and kept running

On solid engineering, monitored, with one accountable team to fix what breaks and add what you need as the catalog grows.

Two real architectures

We pick the build that fits your products

There is no one right way to build a quote tool. We have shipped two very different ones, and we choose the architecture that fits how you price and sell.

For STORSquare, a portable-storage operator, pricing turns on distance. We built a custom WordPress and Gravity Forms tool that prices a rental from live Google Maps distance and pushes every quote into HubSpot, so coordinators stopped quoting by phone and re-keying deals.

For Southeastern Laundry, a commercial-equipment distributor, the catalog is the complexity. We turned WooCommerce into a quote builder: the cart assembles multi-line equipment requests instead of an order, while a handful of small parts stay directly purchasable.

Distance-based, configurator-based, catalog-based: the job is the same, get your sales team accurate, routed quote leads without living in their inbox.

Real clients, real reviews

What the quote tool changed

“One of the custom plugins they built has been a game changer. It streamlined our internal operations, improved our sales tracking and reporting, and even helped us book more rentals. The entire team has been knowledgeable, responsive, and easy to work with throughout every project.”
C Courtney Thomsen Marketing & Operations, STORSquare
“They understand how the storefront, the customer data, and our CRM connect, and they took the initiative to learn our systems, which was not a simple task. If you run a real business behind your website, I’d recommend them without hesitation.”
T Tracey Kirkman Marketing Director, Solmetex

Questions

Common questions

How is this different from a CPQ product like Salesforce CPQ?

A CPQ product is software you license per seat and then configure to your process. We build the quote tool into the site you already run, shaped to your exact pricing and products, and you own it. No per-seat fees, no forcing your catalog into someone else’s model. When an off-the-shelf product genuinely fits, we’ll tell you.

Can it handle our pricing, which is genuinely complicated?

Usually, yes. Distance and freight pricing, options and configurators, volume tiers, customer-specific pricing, and the exceptions you keep in a spreadsheet are exactly what we encode. The messier the pricing, the more a tool that gets it right is worth.

Does it connect to our CRM?

Yes. Routing every quote into your CRM (HubSpot, or what you run) is the point: the tool turns the website into a lead-gen engine and keeps the pipeline complete, instead of quotes living in an inbox.

Can some products still be directly purchasable?

Yes. We build the hybrid: quote-only for the complex, configurable equipment, and a normal checkout for the parts and accessories that have a fixed price.

What does it cost?

Quote-tool builds are fixed-scope, quoted to a number before you commit, never an open-ended hourly bill. A working session scopes yours to a fixed number before you commit.
